10 Travel Questions
It’s the first of June already. Each time we reach a new month it feels like time is just whizzing by at breakneck speed. So I’d love to do something fun and introspective on 1 June 2024.
Something perfect came along. Thanks to
1. What’s the furthest from home you’ve ever been?
That would be the USA. Specifically Orlando Florida. Had to change flights twice at Tokyo and Detroit I think, and it was torture stuck in cattle class.
Had accompanied my partner for a work-related thing so it didn’t feel like a holiday. But I guess I should be happy I made it that far and the costs were covered by the company.
I didn’t get to see the beach or Disneyland.
2. What country that you’ve been to had the most different and difficult language?
I guess the language most foreign to me would have been Finnish. Finland was also the point furthest north that I’ve been. I loved it together with Sweden. I just love everything Scandinavian.
